"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."
My mission is simple: to empower you with the tools and knowledge to make confident, informed financial decisions dedicated to protecting your hive and solidifying your generational wealth.
In 2020, my husband and I became beekeepers, and that unexpected journey led to something sweet. By 2023, we launched our own small business selling his baked goods and our homegrown honey. That experience opened my eyes to the real financial challenges small business owners face every day.
I dove headfirst into financial planning—not just for our success, but to help other business owners navigate the same road with more clarity and confidence. During this time, I learned of the strategies known to large coporations, but not to many small business owners.
I was amazed at the wealth of information I found. So many of us have dreams that stay as dreams because we are financially frazzled and don’t know who to trust with our business. It became my mission not to change the industry, but the distribution of information and knowledge in the industry.
I subsequently founded Bee Haven Financial—a firm dedicated to delivering thoughtful, personalized financial strategies to individuals, families, and fellow entrepreneurs. My partners are CPAs, attorneys, stockbrokers, insurance brokers, and other financial professionals. We work as a team to bridge the gap between your goals and the solutions needed to get you there. We serve everyone from the intern to the CEO.
There is no requirement of assets to work with us. Our consultations are free and our passion is unmatched. In these unprecedented times, let us help you plant your feet firmly in the direction you seek.
Individual
-
As an independent broker, I can work with as many insurance companies as I want and I can shop around for you and find you the most coverage for the best price.
If you already have life insurance, I help you maximize your living benefits by lowering your premium and/or adding more coverage. You should always review your life insurance every 5 years (at minimum).

Medicare/Medicaid: Every county is different and every carrier has different plans. These plans are contracts with the government, changing every year. I am contracted with every carrier (Humana, Aetna, UHC, Anthem, Devoted, Cigna, Wellcare, etc.), so I am able to study all the plans that all the carriers offer and show you the most suitable options for your needs. Every AEP, I will come to your house and show you the newly updated plans for the next year.
These plans change each year, just as your health and finances change each year. I am here to be your guide through it all. I will look to see if you qualify for extra help through social security and/or Medicaid. I also provide gap coverage plans for any area you need that Medicare does not cover so that you are fully protected.
-
I specialize in helping protect my clients’ retirement accounts by helping them transition their savings and investments into products where they are protected from losses, and only have gains, while also creating a legacy and generational wealth for their family.
The fact remains that we have no idea what the future holds when it comes to paying taxes. I help my clients move their money where they pay taxes now, and grow their money tax-free.
-
I look at your overall estate plan and even help you prepare a dry-run for immediate situations. I can provide Wills, Revocable Trusts, Health Care POA, Financial POA, and more.
Planning
Small Business
Planning
-
We work with appreciating assets - not depreciating. Most small business owners are only shown how to write off depreciating assets. That leads to a poor retirement. We are in the business of showing you how to write off assets that are also appreciating over time - leading to a rich and happy retirement.
Retirement planning, succession planning, employee retention, employee education programs, and more are just a few strategies we can fund from your tax liability.
Employee Education Programs
Let us host a “Busy Bee Lunch & Learn” for your employees. We will provide lunch and education for their financial needs.
Employee Retention - Key Employee Benefits
Having the right tools to recruit, reward, retain, and retire key employees can have a noticeable impact on your organization. Key employee benefits can play a big role in helping you help them. We can provide additional benefits and/or help them make up for benefits lost due to limitations on qualified retirement plans and Social Security. This will create a valuable tool that helps to create more engaged and loyal employees.
Recruit: attract top talent as part of a competitive benefits package.
Retain: encourage loyalty by helping to secure financial futures.
Reward: provide performance-based contributions to achieve organizational goals.
Retire: offer additional savings and long-term income diversification options.
Retirement Benefits that offers tax leverage and flexibility:
Taxes on profits, raising capital, self-employment taxes and fringe benefit limitations are all areas that we work to overcome. We can provide multiple benefits in one solution such as retirement income, tax leverage and protection.
You’ve likely become accustomed to a certain standard of living. To maintain that in retirement, consider a bonus plan designed specifically for LLC members. It can offer benefits for you and your family while safeguarding against market downturns and inflation erosion.
Business owners need predictable cash flow to replace the income they once earned from their company. What if we could show you how to have guaranteed income for life?
Business Exit & Succession Planning
What is your business exit strategy?
Do you plan to sell your business? Do you know the value of your business?
Will your kids take over the business? If so, how will they finance this transition?
Do you have partners? Who takes over if a partner leaves?
We are here to help you through all scenarios find a plan that will lead to the sustainability and longevity of your legacy.

Medicare

ORIGINAL MEDICARE
Original Medicare includes Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance). After you pay a deductible, Medicare pays its share of the Medicare approved amount, and you pay your share (coinsurance). Medicare pays 80% and you pay the remaining 20% in cost-sharing. Does not include prescription drug coverage, dental, vision, hearing, OTC benefits, etc. you want Medicare drug coverage (Part D), you can join a separate Medicare drug plan.
PART A: HOSPITAL
***You get this for “free” for working 40 quarters (10 years) in your lifetime where you paid taxes. You are automatically enrolled in Part A when you turn 65 years old.
PART B: MEDICAL
***You sign up for Part B through the Social Security office and start paying a premium. This is taken out of your social security before you receive it. This premium changes every year. Some years it goes up, some years it goes down. The Part B Premium for 2026 is $202.90/month.
***If you have Medicaid, depending on your level, Medicaid will pay this Part B Premium. There are also Medicare Advantage plans that will pay part of your Part B premium in the form of a “giveback”.
PART D: PRESCRIPTION DRUG COVERAGE
***This is an additional premium each month that you pay on top of your Part B premium. This only covers your prescription drug costs and should be paired with a medicare supplement plan. If you have a medicare advantage plan, you don’t need a Part D plan. If you do not have prescription drug coverage once your Initial Enrollment Period ends, you will be assessed a “Part D Late Enrollment Penalty.” See The Part D Late Enrollment Penalty.
SUPPLEMENT: MEDIGAP COVERAGE
***This is an additional premium each month. You pay a monthly premium to a private health insurance company to help pay/cover the 20% coinsurance and out-of-pocket costs in Original Medicare, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. You can go to any doctor and use any network.
MEDICARE PART C: Medicare Advantage
A, B, D, + Dental, Vision, Hearing, + OTC $$ Medicare Advantage is a Medicare-approved plan from a private company that offers an alternative to Original Medicare for health coverage. It combines Part A, Part B, and Part D coverage as well as dental, vision, and hearing coverage and extra benefits such as grocery, utility, OTC, or DME money benefits. These plans normally cost $0. You are not paying a monthly premium, but when you go to the doctor, you have copays.

AEP: “Annual Enrollment Period”: October 15th - December 7th: pick the plan you want to start on January 1st of the upcoming year. Example: Oct. 15 - Dec. 7, 2025 - Pick what plan you want to start on 1-1-2026. The plan you enroll in during this window, does not change the current coverage you have for 2025.
OEP: “Open Enrollment Period”: January 1st - March 31st; you can move once. You can go back to the plan you were on that you moved from, or pick a completely new plan. It is a safety net for if you switched your plan and you aren’t satisfied with it because prescriptions are not being covered, doctor is not in network, etc.; or you didn’t switch your plan and you wish that you had.
SEP: If you have a change in status such as your health, you move to a different county, you gain or lose medicaid status, etc. you receive a “Special Election Code” (SEP) where you can switch right away with coverage starting the month following your enrollment.

BEWARE TELEMARKETERS!
Do not talk to telemarketers on the phone and be very careful about giving out any information if you do. They are very tricky and will find ways to switch you or move you to the plan they are pushing. I am contracted with all the carriers for every type of plan. I will never push you in one direction, I will just put you where you want to go, it doesn’t matter to me what you pick!
If you are unhappy with your plan, if you hear of a different plan that sounds better than what you are on, please call me. Be weary of anyone on the phone trying to switch you or “add benefits” to your plan. You cannot “add” to a plan. If they do, they are switching your plan and you will lose me as your Agent of Record. The telemarketer becomes your Agent of Record and then I legally cannot assist you, and you never hear from that person again. If this ever happens, call me, and I can fix it for you.
